Fellow McDonald’s Suppliers,

As the first month of the new year comes to a close, it reminds us how quickly time passes and gives us the opportunity to provide a quick recap of all that transpired during the inaugural year of the Supplier Network.  Who could imagine that it was just a year ago we were busy discussing the name of this group and trying to put the framework in place to launch a platform that would enable Suppliers to come together to share ideas, information and experiences?

We are happy to say that your Board of Directors worked diligently in 2015 to establish the structure of the Supplier Network.  We defined our Mission and Vision and established committees to concentrate on Membership, Website Development, Marketing and Promotions, Events and Programs, Finance and Legal.  We took advantage of every opportunity to get in front of various McDonald’s Stakeholders with our message and received their support and encouragement along the way.  The Supplier Summit brought us together and we officially launched at its conclusion.

2016 is our year of engagement.  Become involved!  Start your day with a quick look at the website to see the latest McDonald’s announcements and news.  Visit the Discussion Board to see what your fellow Suppliers are talking about.  Keep an eye on the Events page so that you don’t miss the fabulous speakers, webinars and programs being offered.  Open “The Link” and read the latest interviews with McDonald’s Executives and fellow Suppliers.  And let the Calendar be your “go to” place so that you don’t miss any important future happenings.

The need for alignment in the McDonald’s Supplier Community has never been greater and this Network links great together in a unique and powerful way.  Thank you again for your support and we look forward to hearing from you with your ideas for others ways that we can strengthen the Supply Chain by leveraging our links.

*All members must be current suppliers to the McDonald’s system in the U.S.  A “supplier” is defined as those suppliers who have a signed Business Relationship Agreement with McDonald’s, and who have been approved by McDonald's to offer products and/or services to the McDonald’s system or whose pricing is nationally managed by McDonald’s US Supply Chain.  Other suppliers or service providers who don’t meet the above definition but would like to participate in the SN may be granted membership at the discretion of the SN’s Board of Directors and with McDonald’s approval.
